How your data is handled.
Smart Quote AI is designed so that your CRM stays authoritative. What follows is the current handling model. Any change is versioned and announced in-app.
CRM permissions
Smart Quote AI asks for read access to clients and jobs, and write access limited to quotes and activity notes. You can revoke either scope from your CRM at any time.
Encryption
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Quote content stays inside Smart Quote AI until you send it, then becomes read-only in Smart Quote AI and source-of-truth in the CRM.
Retention
Draft quotes and messages are retained while the client is active in the workspace. Deleted clients purge within 30 days. Sent quotes stay in the CRM as the record of truth.
Access
Owners control seats and roles. Studio tier ships SSO and a full audit log. Every action is scoped to a workspace, never shared across accounts.
Model use
Client context is sent to model providers only for the specific quote request. It is not used to train models. Studio can lock model routing to a specific region.
